About Valerie Hemhauser
Valerie Hemhauser is an experienced family law attorney with years of litigation experience helping individuals and families.
With over 30 years of litigation experience, Valerie Hemhauser focuses on providing compassionate and expert legal counsel in family law matters across New Jersey. A graduate of Rutgers School of Law in Newark, she earned her Juris Doctorate and served as a student law clerk for the Appellate Division of the State of New Jersey under the Hon. Thomas F. Shebell, J.A.D. Valerie has been licensed to practice law since 1990. In her career, Valerie founded and served as managing partner of Hall Hemhauser, Monmouth County’s first all-women general law firm. Today, she is an active member of both the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Family Law Division and the Monmouth County Bar Association, where she contributes to several committees. As a Matrimonial Early Settlement Panelist for the Monmouth County Superior Court Family Division, Valerie has also been asked to serve as an Intensive Settlement Panelist and Blue Ribbon Panelist, providing mediation and settlement services in high-conflict cases. She is also an active member of the community, involved in non profit organizations. When When Valerie is not working she enjoys spending time at home with her family, painting, cooking, working out, hiking and travelling. Below is an overview of her career and practice:
